"Hopping Along" With the New Little Crew
Easter weekend was "hoppingly" busy for the new little Canaan crew. They are now two weeks old and eager to strut their stuff for visitors.
Andrea and Ryan, who are soon-to-be puppy parents, drove from British Columbia to meet the little crew in the "fur". What a fabulous visit it was with loads of socialization for the five "Lucky Charms". One of the girls will be going home to this wonderful couple when she is old enough to embark on her next journey in the universe.
The puppies were also happy to see our friends Catherine and Uri who stopped by to chill out with the puppy squad.
Some rambling pics of the Easter pups. And special thanks to Andrea and Ryan who brought the decorations, and a great red wine!
Stay Tuned for weekly updates of the little Canaan Crew!

"Jeepers creepers where did you get those peepers!"
Ash and Rook's lively "lucky charms" are now 11 days old. The biggest change is the appearance of their "peepers". Puppies are born with no sight. Around days 7 to 10 their eyes begin to open. All puppies are born with blue eyes and darken to brown as they mature.
As with human development, the "eyes" of the girls were the first to open on day 9. It was beautiful to wake up and see "Olive", "Boudicca" and "Penny" staring back at me. My surprise today, was to capture a pic of big boy "Frankie" who decided to flash me a "peeper" when I took the last pic of the day. Master Paddy's "windows to the soul" are just about to "peep", so stay tuned for the next update as the little crew continues their journey forward in the big-wide world.
Some rambling pics of the "Pot of Gold" litter, their "easy breezy 'cool' momma Ash, and an appearance from poppa Rook and nanny Cybelle.
