Oh the "Hoar" of it all - The Crew's attempt at poetry

Although, the weeks have been gray in our country haven
and little Miss sunshine has declined to cast her rays
Jack Frost and "We" the "desert dogs" of Raven
take refuge in the "hoar"  that crystallizes our days

 - A poem by the Alberta Canaan Dog Crew: Rook, Ash, and Cybelle

Some rambling pics of  Jack Frost & The Crew, our cattle, my morning cup of coffee, our moose skull, and our land

"Ice, Ice, baby" - the Ice prince in his throne of "hoar" frost

Miss Easy, breezy cover girl "Ash" says my pal Jack Frost beckons me. She also says "I think Vivaldi's Four Seasons (Winter) concerto is luring me into our woods:-)

"Hype girl" Cybelle is ready for her hike through the enchanted woods on her range

Happy and content in his ice palace

The ice princess - Miss Ash

The Ice Queen "Cybelle" is always willing to add a bit of colour to spice up a gray and frosty day

The dynamic Ice duo  - Miss Ash and Master Rook

My morning cup of frosty coffee

My photo ode to one of my favourite artists"Georgia O'Keeffe": medium: Hoar Frost on a moose skull:-) This skull was dragged out from of one of our forests by Miss Cybelle.

Nature can truly be surreal. Some pics on our ranch of the hoar frost from afternoon to early evening.

And even though according to calender date, we are still in our autumn season, the "Crew" has a taste for some Winter Music. So they wanted to share their favourite piece from Vivaldi's The Four Seasons (Winter) with Itzhak Perlman with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. CLICK HERE to hear one of the best interpretations as critiqued by the Crew.
