The Lucky Charms say "We Love Kids!"

It was a very busy weekend on the ranch for the five Lucky Charms who turned six weeks old on Saturday. Mother nature graced us with an abundance of "spring" weather with temps in the double digits (we "topped" 20 degrees C!) so outdoor frolic time for the "Pot of Gold" litter was rich and plentiful.

All of the pups were eager to experience their first interaction with kids this weekend. My sister-in-law Karen, niece Audrey and nephew Tom from Calgary, were just as eager to "meet and greet" the little crew in our country haven in Raven. We were all able to spend the entire morning and afternoon outside "tiring" out the wild western bunch.

Tom and Audrey are a savvy duo around my big and little Canaan crews. Their interactions with the entire litter and each individual pup was beautiful to capture and watch. I was especially proud of Tom who took pride in showing the correct way to handle a pup - always supporting the rear and legs when lifting and being calm, patient and gentle so each pup has a chance to gravitate to you on its own accord.

A big special thank you to Karen, Audrey and Tom who were more than willing to "tire out" the lucky charms so I could get some chores done. Between Karen and I we took loads of pics, and there were so many good ones that I had a tough time deciding which ones to post.

So without further Ado, here are some rambling pics of the pups with the kids, some collar training, and play time with mom. And we took some vids too which I will post mid-week.
